Mark Medoff papers, 1960-2003.

The Mark Medoff papers span the years 1960-2003 and contain manuscripts of plays, short stories, screenplays and novels which he wrote or directed. This includes notes, drafts and other forms of the works. Correspondence within the collection consists of letters to and from publishers and others. Also included are newspaper clippings, reviews and play programs, and those are arranged along with the plays. Teaching material and material relating to his colleagues is also included. Papers from when Medoff attended Stanford in the mid 1960's are also present. Biographical information, as well as details on his work, is found within the scrapbooks and the journals and newsletters contained in the collection. Material relating to awards he won, as well as memorabilia from his personal and professional life are also part of the collection. The photographs include images of different play productions throughout Medoff's career at New Mexico State University. Color and black and white photographs of Medoff's plays at New Mexico State University, Broadway, and on location are also amongst the images.
